Domain search Anybody here that knows how i can make a script that searched for a domain name a user put in a box to check if its registred or not ?

The better way is to create a reseller account with any of the registrars like Directi, Enom etc. Using their reseller API you can do actions like domain lookup, domain registration, domain management etc. __________________Dedicated Servers - sales@hivelocity.net - 1-888-869-HOST(4678)Viva Hivelocity "THE SERVER STUD" - Award Winning Hosting Managed Dedicated Servers. Don't you have a billing system that does it for you? Might I suggest you look into purchasing a product like WHMCS (http://www.whmcs.com) It has a domain check utility within it. Cheers, Dale __________________Hightek Hosting Low cost, affordable cPanel

Enom has got enough options as a reseller, Directi also. The price will depend on the TLD you will be using for registration. For .com its around $8-$9(Its for domain registration not for domain lookup). You can check their site for more information on reseller accounts. __________________Dedicated Servers - sales@hivelocity.net - 1-888-869-HOST(4678)Viva Hivelocity "THE SERVER STUD" - Award Winning Hosting Managed Dedicated Servers. Otherwise as Dale mentioned, you can buy some billing softwares, that contain these options. I would suggest Clientexec from newedge.com in that case.http://newedge.com/ May be a good option if you go for a billing software. __________________Dedicated Servers - sales@hivelocity.net - 1-888-869-HOST(4678)Viva Hivelocity "THE SERVER STUD" - Award Winning Hosting Managed Dedicated Servers. Well are you looking to make one or download one? Making one shouldn't be too hard. Explode the URL into tld and domain; open a connection to a WHOIS server; and check the response, checking if it there was no match. EDIT: actually come to think about it, you don't even need to explode the string to get the TLD, except when you need to check for multiple TLDs

I've never used their services, but it looks interesting. -mike __________________Limestone Networks - Dedicated Server Hosting Premium Network - 24/7/365 Support - Dual Intel Xeon Servers Now Available Dallas Datacenter - Fully Routed Backend Networkhttp://www.limestonenetworks.com 1-877-586-0555
