Setup FTP on Azure Linux centos VM

Hi, I have successfully setup vsftpd on my new Azure Linux centos VM. Active FTP is working fine meanwhile passive ftp fails with below error in filezilla. I am not having a static IP for my VM. I am connecting with server hostname Error: Connection timed out Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing Menwhile there is no errors being logged in logs. Passive ftp just fails to establish connection FTP response: Client 425 Failed to establish connection." Below is my conf for passive ftp. I have opened the port range 14100 to 14150 for passive FTP. pasv_enable=Yes pasv_min_port=14100 pasv_max_port=14150 port_enable=YES pasv_addr_resolve=YES pasv_address=XXXXXXX #"my resolving hostname " log_ftp_protocol=YES Some time it gets connected and lists directories meanwhile it is not able to retrieve next. Is there some thing to do with "Azure" setting ? I have experience in setting up Vsftp with lots of linux servers inlcuding AWS. This is the first time I am working on a "Azure" server. Can any one guide me to solve the issue ?

try to set pasv_address = "the hostname" and not the ip address

Have you opened the respective passive ports in server firewall? Try disabling the firewall for a moment to see if it is related to firewall.
