when I was finishing my last project to distribute it as a free php program for a while, I noticed that someday I will sell this program but I can't do this if I distribute it as a free beta version now!! so I'm going to make a new License generator program , which compare the domain name which the program have been installed with the license generated and an API Call will check this Values 60% of this license generator php program have been finished I saw a little of the licenses generator but there's no one of them free versions I will promise that this License generator will be free when I finish it and now.. I just want to know more about the features that you would like to be included in this Licenses Generator PHP program !!

good work. all the best for your licence generator program. suggested features :- Licence restrictions based on domain,ip etc. Trial licence generation (ex..30day limit) improved security (otherwise, clients will easily crack it . )

Thanks for your suggestions I will make this features available on my project about the API Security which will check License it will be so secure it will be just one file and you can put it on any subdomain or any subfolder the licensed program will call this file with the parameters (domain,License Code, etc..) this can be cracked only if the end user know the URL of the License Checker Script and the end user then can make a new hosted domain by the same name and make a crack domain or subdomain for this script .. this is the weakest point !! so I will write some other ways of integration on the ReadMe File or the Docs that you can use a database user for check the licenses this user can connect remotley from any server % but can't change the database and I'm sure that the Licensed Script will be encoded with a strong encoder that will never be decoded for the licensed user to know the secret of the script ! and I'm pretty sure that the programmers have a lot of ways to secure thier programs and they can make their handmade License Checker compatible with our API License Generator. Thanks for your suggestions which present to me a new prospects for my project and I'm going to include this features

yeah sure I will post it on this topic and I will make a new topic of the project site. but I need to know more features that the programmers need , it will be for free however it must have the full options and Thanks for replay

Thanks , I will complete this program shortly and will be available for testing 4-5 days and will be available for downloading after 15-20 days hi ivedtara if you are programmer you know that after programming you need to distribute your products free or commercials , this license generator will allow the users who wants to download your program to signup and generate license (with or without) purchasing the products (whatever free or not free) and the program which have a license will call the api license checker to verfiy if this license is valid or not (and) if this license is active or not!! such as the serial numbers , activation codes , anyway .. there's no any free php license generator , so I hope this will help a lot of programmers.

thanks I don't understand well this question !! but I think it will be a license generator for all purposes with a web GUI that the user can download the software and submit his own license and the software will have the code to check if the license is valid or not valid I think it can be used for all software because the API will be flexible to the programmer

hi people I just finished with the main principles log in - log out - registering - adding license - view licenses per user - reissue license - downloading the archive file which include the license now I'm going to include a small billing system with some common payment gateways I'm not sure I think that I will include the easiest payment gateways which have a clear API system and Test mode for developers !! even if this step haven't been finished after 4-5 days I will give the link for the test demo for the end user interface

Good idea, but doesn't sound that secure. Unless you encrypt the PHP, all someone has to do is remove the API calling code, curl most likely, falsify the result and then boom, you have have a free, cracked version which they can distribute for another fee.

Thanks Pandy_NetworkMail Thanks ultimatewebhost Thanks jwebhost that's sure jwebhost , because of the nature of PHP and I'm sure that the programmers can't distribute their own php programs without encoding their scripts , and this will be happen if and only if you want your program to be "open source" on other hand I planed to distribute this project not only for php programs, so the programmer can make his own API call on other programming language, such as using curl in c++ & vsual basic as this small program http://vb.net-informations.com/commu...t_read_url.htm as we can read the url contents in flash using xml and java .. etc but I'm still waiting for someone who can develope a free version of strong php encoder program with a free loader .. oh .. this will help a lot of php programmers.

I agree, I tried something like this a few years ago where it cross referenced the software license and domain being hosted on against the licensed domain in the vendor's database of customers. However, even being partially encrypted... it was nulled.
