How To Use Partitons in Dedicated Hosting

Hi, I have a Dedicated Server with me which I am using. The server information Says ***************************************************************** Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda5 14G 6.0G 6.8G 47% / /dev/sda2 57G 623M 54G 2% /var ***************************************************************** I want to use this /dev/dsa2 Now. Because there is around 57GB Free (Right?). How can I do that? I have a gallery2 setup on /dev/sda5 which takes a lot of space. So I wanted Gallery2 to either use /dev/sda2 (By moving everything from /dev/sda5/) Or Merge /dev/sda2 to /dev/sda5 Also Now I want to start a website and I need space. I will have to use /dev/sda2. So I guess It will be good for me to merge /dev/sda2 to /dev/sda5. What are your thoughts? What Shuld I do and HOW to do that? Thanks a lot TEN

Hi, You can't merge 2 partitions remotely on a dedicated server All you can do is to create a directory on sda2 like /var/websites, move all websites there and reconfigure apache or whatever you have to use the new path.
