HFW going down!!!

Posted by rsanchez, 03-18-2003, 09:02 PM
On sunday hfw suffered a hard drive crash on it's server weyland, plus many other network problems. As of today, they have not recovered from all the problems and support e-mails being submitted that they are not returning any e-mails. It's my personal opinion if hfw doesn't get a handle on the situation with all the network problems and failures to restore all the accounts affected on weyland there will be clients seeking new hosting reseller accounts. I've spoke with Alex regarding my certain problem on Monday and was assured he would take care of the situation but nothing has being done. I've submitted my share of trouble tickets plus e-mail them to remind them and get a status update. No answer. The chat support is useless since I've being waiting for someone for almost thirty minutes and counting. Is there anyone still employed at hfw other than Alex? My answer is: everyone has gone home and no one gives a _________! Sorry to everyone. Just a little mad with the way hfw has failed to replay to request and make good on promises. I'll be waiting until past midnight in hopes of getting my accounts up and running.

Hostforweb was a huge let down. I am still trying to get clients restored after 2 days off running around. I am looking for a reliable host with live phone support 24/7. I have learned a hard lesson 2 twice. Hostforweb.com cybershouts.com Both these companies were down 30+ hours, and no notice from any owners. Cybershouts help me switch from HFW Monday, anfd they went down Tuesday and still are down. I think these guys are in Europe too, so goodbye Tuesday. I will not deal with E-mail support, Perl-Desk, any more. My time and clients deserve support anytime of the day.
