Script executed when the server starts

Hello, I would like to execute "lighttpd -f /etc/lighttpd.conf" every time when the server starts/boot. Any ideas how it can be done? Thanks

Depends of the Linux version you are using..Basically you should be able to do that by adding in /etc/rc.local that line. or you can specify the config file from /etc/sysconfig/lighttpd LIGHTTPD_CONF_PATH=/etc/lighttpd.conf

Yep the easiest way is to add the command to /etc/rc.local Remember to specify the full path to lighttpd
