www.iminteractive.com uses He.net for a few of there servers. I think they use the company name www.resell4less.com for resellers. etc From what i can gather they are good reliable and affordable. Regards Phillip

Ya, lunarpages has good reviews http://www.webhostmagazine.com/bg/Di....asp?revID=157 But not offer resellers plan and The setup fee is waived only if sign-up for a twelve month contract...if for the 3 and 6 month plans there is a $30 setup fee...

I don't have any experience with HE.net but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

We love HEnet as all of our server farm is located there as well. Nothing but excellent reviews! Our main site (ecphosting.net), however, is stragetically placed off-server (NAC) for the worst (which has never happened as of yet).

all of the companies mentioned above are all expensive though

You didn't mention you wanted cheap reseller plan!

We also enjoy the services of HE.net and except for Slammer Worm on Jan 25, service/uptime has been excellent and 100%. As far as pricing goes, you need to determine a good cost/service ratio. If your account (and all "your" Reseller accounts) are always up and available, what is that worth? There are lots of companies professing to offer good services for .40 or .50 cents per GB, but people soon find out: If your site is down, it doesn't really matter what you are paying. It's all a loss.

Posted by ric, 07-18-2003, 05:39 AM
httpme is good enough... their servers are located in the NAC datacenter not HE.net DC... Do you really ask recommand who use HE.net DC ?? or what???

I am looking for He.net DC provider FOR SURE. I am using HTTPme also but want to look for some provider use He.net that has better speed to Asia...

Posted by parkinghost, 07-18-2003, 10:27 AM
anyone knows who is their network provider?

Posted by parkinghost, 07-18-2003, 10:29 AM
saw it, they use NAC, seems not bad...

You would be better off looking for a reseller located in the Los Angeles (One Wilshire/Equinix) area. However, I don't know of any, so I guess that would be a moot effort anyhow, but I do believe HE.net goes through Los Angeles to get to Asia, as many of the Asia/Pacific hosts pipe into Los Angeles area.

yes I agree, I do has good reviews of some providers local on CA such as lunarpages / HE etc... .. both had better ping time from ASIA...there are many countries and companies need to host their web in US for global business purpose, so , this should be the best choice...however,unfortunately ,lunarpages & HE did not offer resellers plan ...may be you can considerate about it.... .. just my 0.02 Ric

I think the reason for this is because He.net charges an arm and a leg for colocation. Regards, Arvand Sabetian
