Hello. I was just woundering; has any reseller ever reached their bandwidth limit and what happened? I mean, how did the host react and what happened to your account and that of thoses you gave account to? [i.e. the end user?] Hope i made sense! Thanks a lot guys.

Often most sites will automatically suspend the accounts (a common feature). Some will simply start adding the overages to your bill. In most cases they inform you ASAP or even before you break the limit.

Some tell you when you reach x% and then give you a choice. Either wait for it to suspend or pay more money Rus

If you're getting away with overages, I would be concerned about the company that you're with.

As others have mentioned, the host will likely either warn you ahead of time or cut off your account at the limit. If your reseller account allows overselling, they will allow you to go over your monthly bandwidth allotment and pay a fee for the extra bandwidth.

Mmmm...thanks for the input. But has anyone actually hit their limit? And how did the host react? Thanks for the info.

once you reach 80% usage, you will get an email from them to let you know the option (get shut down or be billed)
