df -h (how 101% use)

| Hello,
i run a backup on my DA server and it always failed. I check the usage in DA and still have 30% free space. when i type df -h in putty, it show 101% used. How can it be. is my server is failing on me?

| go in the partition and do du -sch *
see what it comes back with..

| it showing i list of files and folders
total is 144G and i still have lots of free space

| Unmount it and run an FSCK. I would make sure you have a good copy of the data first -- which if that is a backup should not be a major issue. You probably have some level of filesystem corruption.
