Anybody know what causes this error: undefined symbol: zend_ce_closure
The error/warning is since cPanel 11.36 upgrade.

You need to re-install ioncube loader.

The problem is the IonCube referenced in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/php.ini, which is used by the internal PHP instance cPanel uses is for php 5.3 (The external PHP version). The internal PHP instance has remained at php 5.2.17.
IonCube is not by default enabled in the internal php instance, so controls on updates for it are not included in updates. Installing the 5.2 loader and referencing enables it in the cPanel instance of PHP, i.e
