Need SSL reseller

Hello, Could anyone recommend me about cheap ssl reseller provider? Thanks.

Hey, I would recommend ClientExec, so far I know they provide a free enom account (you dont need to be a customer to get it) and maybe that could be good for you. Go to NetEarthOne as well, so far I know they provide you SSL Certificates to resell them. There are some providers that give you a free enom account, so you could expect costs from 15 to 25 USD which are just basically reseller accounts, but including ssl reseller as a free feature. Check out ezpzhosting for example, or innohosting. Good day!

I was going to say NetEarthOne as well. They have good costs on domains as well. I can't recall about the SSL fee but I know they have rock bottom domain costs that beat the Enom account costs that I have seen. Hope this helps.

Resellone provides Rapidssl for $10. Also you can look at the offers of Namecheap.

Or you could always go with FREE if you were willing to switch to a VPS style host. http://VPS.net offers 1 free yearly Comodo Positive SSL with each IP on your server. IP's are the standard price of $1.00 month. They will also give you a free billing application (HostBill) for each IP on your server. I see they still have not added the Comodo SSL's to their features page so here is the forum link to the announcement: http://www.vps.net/forum/topic/211-f...h__1#entry1484

1 for Enom, thought they are bit pricey compared to other resellers.

Yes. +1 for enom. The process of order and submission is fully automated with the WHMCS

We've had great success with globalsign with their competitive rates, and it is fully automated by the WHMCS process. Check it out. http://wiki.whmcs.com/GlobalSign_SSL /A switcher from eNom

Those free PositiveSSL certificates only works on their IP addresses. In other words, you can only use those free certificates on their network. It doesn't make sense unless you're selling this SSL certificate service to your hosting clients hosted on their network. If an IP address cost $1/month from them, it will cost $12 a year. You can get PositiveSSL elsewhere for $10/year.

Yes it is also worth considering the value of the SSL certificate offered. Is it renewable or do you have to get it re-issued every yearis it 124bit or 256bit does it have SGC for compatibilityWill they re-issue the cert for free if neededDoes it secure both with and without the www does it offer a secure site seal Though I have not used them GlobalSign has really attractive looking certificates and NetEarthOne, mentioned earlier, has the option to set you up as a sub reseller with a much better rate to deposit ratio than going directly to GlobalSign. Unless that is you were lucky enough to be offered GlobalSign's WHMCS promotion earlier this year. I seem to recall it was something like they would give you the $5,000.00 tier pricing for a $500.00 deposit. If you are also looking at Domain Registrations at this time you might want to consider a single source for both. That said it is important to consider the value of the Domain offered. enom for instance often has really good costs on both domains and SSL but they charge an arm and a leg for features that you probably want all of your clients to have like domain privacy. I seem to recall InnoHosting telling me that their $6.95 enom domain registry wanted $5.00 to add privacy. I only Pay $9.86 for my .com's from OpenSRS and they include domain privacy etc. I understand that the cheep SSL certificates from enome also do not allow re-issuance. This means that if anything happened in your server environment to change your IP etc. you would have to pay for all new certificates. I would probably have gone with NetEarthOne or resell.biz if either of them had .ca as both of them also offer domain privacy. I am still considering just using OpenSRS for the .ca and any other special ccTLDs and switching to one of these guys for everything else. FYI NetEarthOne's GlobalSign offering is not obvious as it is not integrated into their other features yet. This is the link https://www.sslreseller.com/pricing

JFSG I don't think you have quite thought that one all the way through. First you are required, on any shared host that I have ever herd of, to buy a private IP to associate with the site that the SSL cert is going to be on. SSL Certificates are issued to both the domain name and the IP address and you can only have one certificate per IP. Some certificates allow more than one domain on the certificate but they are quite expensive certificates designed for corporate servers. This means that no mater where you buy your certificate you will be dinged for the IP cost. In my experience most hosts charge $1 to $2 a month for an IP mostly to ensure they are not frivolously used. This means that on-top of whatever your SSL certificate prices your host will also charge you $12 to $24 a year per certificate. Secondly, VPS.net does not allow you to use the free Comodo SSL certificate on a server that is not theirs. Why would they? They are offering them free as a value added bonus to try and get you to host with them, not their competition. I feel it important to mention, though I am defending my suggestion of VPS.net I would not recommend it for everyone. You have to be willing to manage you own server so it is only of interest to those already using Virtual Private servers or dedicated hosting. Unless you want to get your hands dirty with server configuration and management it is probably best to stick with a shared host.

Someone just reminded me that UK2Group who owns VPS.net also has another subsidiary called Autica that offers unlimited free SSL's with their reseller plan. I assume it is on the same deal as VPS.net

WHMCS + free eNom account is definitely the way to go.
